Cabinet clears setting up of 7 new IIMs

The country will soon have 7 new IIMs, of which four will start functioning from next year with the Union Cabinet on Thursday approving a HRD ministry proposal to set up these management institutes.

Looks like the effort is on to exhaust all the 26 alphabets of the english language...14 Gone,12 to go...Started with A,B,C and counting...

I think we will have a crisis at hand pretty soon when it comes to naming those institutes...Wondering if there are cities with name starting from X,Y and
Z..If not what are we gonna name the IIMs in those cities or even towns?Ranchi counts as a city?No?? Visit it once...Rohini can throw some more light on this :)

One option could be that the HRD ministry works in collaboration with the ministry of urban development where in they first develop new cities and name them
starting from the alphabet X,Y and Z...Rest of the thing should be a cake-walk..After all, it does not take much to open a new IIM.

Did somebody say infrastructure??Come on,being an NMites atleast we don't have any right to say so !So what if we don't have a dean...We are on lookout for it and have already given an advertisement in leading newspapers.The ad says that "we are looking for instituition builder"...and I thoguht that they were going to need the instituition demolisher for the old building..Anyways...

Alrite..so the problem is solved or rather it seems so..atleast for the time being.
Though 10 years down the line it might crop up again..When the letter Z is also exhausted...What will our dear HRD ministry do then?

Come on ..that's not such a big issue...IIM AX series is still up for grab where X will have 26 values again...After all HRD ministry is not that dumb.

So all those people who worried about the quality of education in our country...You got a reason to smile :)

Last Few Months!!

Hi All

I believe we have only a few months more to go before we stop studying for good. No offense to the FIN ppl as they would possibly be studying for a long time to come.

Lets just try to enjoy these days by just posting out whatever u feel like over here. i think, 6 months down the line, we would be longing to meet each other....Article 377 notwithstanding.....
